Events

The Cumberland County Historical Running Festival offers several running distances:

Course and Location

The event takes place in Greenwich, one of the oldest towns in South Jersey. All races start and finish at the Gibbon House. The courses go through farmland and past historical buildings. The courses are described as flat; the 10-mile route has 92 feet of elevation gain. The courses are in the process of being certified.

Post-Race and Awards

Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in standard age groups. A finisher medal and shirt are included with registration for those who sign up by April 10. A post-race party includes award ceremonies and a food truck on site.

Charity and Community

Proceeds from the race support the Cumberland County Historical Society. Participants are encouraged to visit local museums, which include the Gibbon House Museum, a Red Barn Museum, and others. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
