Three Bridges Five Mile Road Race

The Three Bridges Five Mile Road Race is the 16th annual edition held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 in the Three Bridges area of Readington Township. The event is organized as a community road event held rain or shine and includes timed competition and a noncompetitive walk.
Distances offered:
- 5 Mile Road Race: a five mile course of rolling hills through Readington Township
- 2 Mile Health Walk: a peaceful walk through the historic Three Bridges community; children are welcome
Timing and scoring for the race are provided by Best Racing Systems. The course includes mile markers, water stations and fire police to assist participants. Entries are grouped by age categories, including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 plus. Teams may also enter as a category.
Awards are given for male and female competitors across the age groups. Registration fees differ before and after August 1st: the five mile race is listed at $35 before August 1st and $40 after, and the two mile walk is $10 before August 1st and $15 after. Amenities include T-shirts for the first 150 registered entries and light refreshments such as bagels, fruit and beverages.
