The High Bridge Mile
The High Bridge Mile is a running race held on August 8, 2026, in High Bridge, New Jersey. It takes place on the same residential course used in 2025 and occurs alongside a criterium that includes professional and amateur cyclists and runners.
The running course is two laps of a hilly paved loop for a total of 1.4 miles. There will be a race announcer, start line activities, and residents positioned along the course, creating a family friendly street atmosphere.
Registration details note an online registration deadline of August 7, 2026, additional online fees, and a $10 day of race surcharge. Number pick up is at the start/finish at the corner of Church and Taylor Streets. The event lists separate Men and Women entry categories with field limits and entry fees as published by the organizer.
Cash prizes are listed for the top three Men and the top three Women, with payouts based on entries in each category. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine and the organizer states there are no refunds. Participants are asked to respect private property, use porta potties when available, and dispose of trash properly.
