TBK Bank Thirsty 13 Half Marathon : Durango, CO
The TBK Bank Thirsty 13 is a point-to-point half marathon held in Durango, Colorado on August 28, 2027. The course starts at Hesperus Church and finishes at Ska Brewing, running through Wildcat Canyon and past Lake Nighthorse. The route is mostly downhill with a net elevation loss of about 1,400 feet.
Course support includes five aid stations spaced roughly every 2.5 miles beginning near mile 3; the station near mile 8 also offers bananas and additional snacks. Roads on the course remain open to vehicle traffic, so runners are advised to stay on the right shoulder. Toilets are provided at the start, on course near mile 5.4, and at the finish area.
Packet pickup takes place the day before at a designated location in Durango and is also available on race morning at the finish area. Bus transportation is provided from the finish area to the start line; there is no parking at the start. A parking coordinator will direct attendees to nearby lots around Ska Brewing.
Finish-line amenities include an official finisher mug and a complimentary Ska beer or non-alcoholic beverage. Awards recognize the top finisher in each of 14 age groups. The event offers an optional ticketed post-race San Juan Brewfest featuring samples from over 35 breweries; the Brewfest is restricted to guests age 21 and older and requires ID.
