The 5K route uses gravel roads and multiple trail sections, including Shelterwood Trail and the Bluebird Trail, and passes historic Remington Ruins before reaching the finish. The 10K follows the 5K course and continues onto the Pocowanache Trail for a longer loop that includes a notable ascent to a vista and a return descent that reconnects with the 5K finish on the Bluebird Trail. Course terrain includes smooth singletrack, rocky and rugged sections, rolling climbs, and flowing descents. The Bluebird Trail is described as a serene forest section with picturesque and historic views, while the Pocowanache Trail features steeper climbs and winding descents.

One aid station is located at the Green Bridge for both distances. Awards are given to first place male and female in 14 and under, 15 to 19, then in 10 year age groups up to 60 and older for each distance. Proceeds benefit the Think Big Pediatric Cancer Fund. Parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged. Race swag is guaranteed for the first 200 registrants and race day registration will be available. Registration opens May 16, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
