Thibodaux Firemen's Fair Fun Run and 5k
The event in Thibodaux, Louisiana, is scheduled for May 2, 2026 at the fairgrounds located at 1101 Tiger Drive. It includes two separate running events and a route that passes through Thibodaux’s historic Downtown District before returning to the fairgrounds entrance on Tiger Drive for the finish.
- 1 Mile Fun Run starting at the corner of Tiger Drive and Parish Road.
- 5k starting near the fairgrounds entrance on Parish Road.
Youth registrations for ages 5 to 17 are sponsored and offered at no cost by Thibodaux Regional Health System. Adult pre-registrations are noted to receive a $10 food and drink voucher for the Firemen’s Fair when registered by May 18th. Early registrants prior to May 18th are stated to be guaranteed a t-shirt and a food and drink voucher.
Packet pickup takes place at the fairgrounds the Friday before the race next to the Bowie stand near stage right, and also on race morning just behind the auction barn. Online registration is encouraged, and on-site registration is available during packet pickup and on race morning. Commemorative race medals and refreshments are provided at the finish line for participants who cross the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
