Thibodaux Firemen's Fair Fun Run and 5k
The event takes place on May 2, 2026 at the fairgrounds located at 1101 Tiger Drive, Thibodaux, LA 70301. It includes two running events and a community finish area with entertainment and refreshments.

The route brings participants through Thibodaux’s historic Downtown District and finishes at the fairgrounds entrance, where commemorative Firemen’s Race medals and refreshments are provided for finishers. The 1 Mile Fun Run begins near the corner of Tiger Drive and Parish Road; the 5K starts at the fairgrounds entrance.
Registration opens September 12, 2025 and closes April 18, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $15.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run and $25.00 for the 5K. Only early registrants prior to April 17 are guaranteed a T-shirt and a $10 food and drink voucher. Thibodaux Regional Health System sponsors registrations for youth ages 5 to 17 so they may register and run free. All registrations include live entertainment and refreshments at the finish line. Finishers receive a fun run medal and winners receive prizes and awards separated by age group and gender.
Packet pickup is at the fairgrounds on Friday, May 1 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm next to the Bowie stand near stage right, and on race morning from 6:00 am to 7:30 am. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
