Course and logistics
The 5k starts on Parish Road near the fairgrounds entrance and passes through Thibodaux’s historic Downtown District before returning to finish at the fairgrounds entrance. The published 5k route lists streets including Parish Rd, Jefferson, Young Place, Ridgefield, W. 8th, Jackson, Saint Philip St, W 6th, 7th, St. Mary’s, and Tiger Drive. The 1 mile fun run begins at the corner of Tiger Drive and Parish Road and follows local streets to the fairgrounds finish.
Finisher medals and refreshments are available at the finish line. Packet pickup is offered at the fairgrounds on Friday, May 1 (next to the Bowie stand near stage right) and on race morning (behind the auction barn). Current registration fees listed are $15 for the 1 mile and $25 for the 5k, with youth entries free; prices increase after April 17, 2026.
