Event Overview
The event is part of the May the 4th – Louisiana nonprofit festival, which combines Star Wars themes with local culture. It is the second annual run. The festival is in its sixth year and supports local high school band programs, including H.L. Bourgeois High School Band. Funds from registrations provide grants for Terrebonne Parish band students.

Event Details
The run is described as a "glow infused" nighttime event. Costumes are encouraged. After the run, the wider festival features activities such as a Roux Wars cook-off, a Wookie Calling Contest, costume competitions, live music, and local vendors.
Registration and Practical Information
Early bird registration is available from December 1 until February 2 for $30. The standard registration price is $35. A kids fun run registration costs $20.
