Therefore International’s 2nd Annual Run Walk & Shine is a community event held at First Baptist Church Kountze, 100 W Monroe St, Kountze, TX 77625. The event supports international Gospel outreach through church planting, discipleship, Christian education, food, clean water and medical care in West Africa and beyond.

Activities listed by the organizer include an open car show, a silent auction of wood crafts, a communal luncheon called the Therefore Luncheon, and running/walking events. The running/walking program features the following distances:

• 1/2 mile children’s run/walk (ages 12 and under)

The organizer provided entry fees for the races: the 5K has a registration fee of $20.00, and the children’s walk is free.
