Tinsel Trot 5K & 1K Fun Run : Silsbee, TX
The event takes place on December 5, 2026 at 103 South 3rd Street, Silsbee, TX 77656. It includes a timed 5K and a 1K fun run for children. Registration opens December 8, 2025. The 5K has an early price of $30 through November 14 and a higher fee of $40 from November 15 through December 5. The 1K is free to register for ages 1 to 10; participants may purchase a t-shirt during registration. No refunds are offered.
Packet pickup is scheduled for December 4, 2026 at the Silsbee Public Library, 295 N. 4th Street, Silsbee, TX. Registrations submitted after 12 noon on Thursday, December 3 are not guaranteed a t-shirt or swag. Race-day late registration and packet pickup are available for late entrants. T-shirt options for registered 5K participants include youth sizes S-L and adult sizes S, M, L, XL, with additional charges for XXL and XXXL.
Awards are given by age group and overall placement. The 1K has age-group awards across five age bands for ages 1 to 10, with first through third places. The 5K awards first through third overall male and female plus age-group awards. A jolliest costume contest is judged prior to the race with winners announced after awards.
