Theo's Gift 5k Run / Walk
The Theo's Gift 5k Run / Walk is an athletic event held at the St. Joseph American Legion Post 464 in St. Leon, Indiana. Participants can choose to complete the 5 km distance as either a runner or a walker. The event center is located at 28866 Post 464 Rd.
Participants can collect their race packets at the outside shelter of the St. Joseph American Legion. Packet pick-up is available on the evening before the event or on the morning of the race. Following the conclusion of the run and walk, a breakfast is provided for participants, which is supported by free-will donations.
The event recognizes top performers across various categories. Awards are presented to:
- The top 3 runners in each division.
- The top 3 walkers overall.
Age divisions for the event are categorized as follows:
- Under 18
- 18-30
- 31-50
- 50+
Registration includes different tiers based on the date of entry. Participants who register by September 30 receive a t-shirt as part of their entry fee, while those registering from October 1 onwards do not have a t-shirt included. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
