Delta Sigma Pi Michael Hayes 5K
The Delta Sigma Pi Michael Hayes 5K is a 5K run/walk held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Oxford, Ohio. The event takes place at Leonard Howell Park, 5200 Bonham Rd, Oxford, OH 45056. Registration for the 2026 event is online; the registration fee is $25 and a T-shirt is included with each registration.
Event information
The race is organized by the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at Miami University. Proceeds go to the Michael G. Hayes Memorial Scholarship Fund, which assists Miami University students who are facing life-threatening illnesses. Services for scholarship recipients include door-to-door transportation to class, transport to and from medical appointments, insulin, motorized wheelchairs, and grocery delivery.
The event is professionally timed by Running Time Race Services and will use MyLaps disposable bib tags; the chip is attached to the bib and does not need to be returned. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to top male and female performers in each age category. Age divisions are: 17 and under, 18-24, 25-49, 50-64, and 65 and older.
