Delta Sigma Pi Michael Hayes 5K
This is a 5K run and walk held in Oxford, Ohio on April 18, 2027 at Leonard Howell Park, 5200 Bonham Rd. Registration for 2027 is online only; the fee is $25 and each registration includes a T-shirt. Registration opens January 21, 2027 and closes April 18, 2027.
All race proceeds go to the Michael G. Hayes Memorial Scholarship Fund, which assists Miami University students who are battling life threatening illnesses while pursuing higher education. Services provided to scholarship recipients include door to door transportation to class, transport to and from medical appointments, insulin, motorized wheelchairs, and grocery delivery.
The event uses professional timing provided by Running Time Race Services. Awards are given to the overall male and female winners and to top male and female performers in each age category. Pre race activities include raffle baskets and music. Age divisions are 17 and under, 18 to 24, 25 to 49, 50 to 64, and 65 and older.
