La Sportiva Sunset Stroll
La Sportiva Sunset Stroll is a relaxed evening event held as part of the YOMP weekend in Kirkby Stephen. The route is a 10 km stroll that starts at Basecamp and includes a short group warmup before setting off. The course is fully marshalled and flagged to guide participants along the route.
The route climbs toward Tailbrigg and reaches its high point on Birket Fell, offering views across the Eden Valley. At the fell top participants encounter The Berry, Grape and Grain Fell Top tasting experience, which provides a selection of local culinary products. Walkers and joggers may proceed at their own pace or join one of the event hosts, who are available to share local landscape information, regional history, and stories from mountain activities.
