Event Overview

The Yomp Mountain Challenge is a volunteer-led charity event held over a weekend in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria. The event has been running since 1983. Events & Distances

The event includes several different races across three days. The Sunset Stroll is one of these events and is scheduled for Friday evening. Other distances offered over the weekend include an Ultra, a Mountain Marathon, a 20 km, a 10 km, and a 5 km.

Event Base

The main event site, or "Basecamp," is located at Pennine View Park (The Engine Shed) in Kirkby Stephen. This site hosts food vendors, a beer tent, family activities, and live music. Campers, campervans, and caravans are welcome onsite.
