La Sportiva Sunset Stroll
La Sportiva Sunset Stroll is a relaxed 10 km evening stroll in the Eden Valley around Kirkby Stephen. The route begins at Basecamp, includes a guided warmup, and climbs toward Tailbrigg before reaching its high point on Birket Fell, where there are wide valley views.
At the fell top participants encounter the Berry, Grape and Grain Fell Top tasting experience and are offered a selection of local culinary products. The route is fully marshalled and flagged to help with navigation and safety.
Participants can walk or jog at their own pace or join one of the event hosts. Running and walking hosts are available along the route to share information about local history and landscape and to describe some mountain experiences from the area.
