The Wurst 5K & 1 Mile Brat Trot
On October 10, 2026, Heritage Park in downtown Kent, Ohio (497 Middlebury Rd) hosts two untimed, Oktoberfest-themed runs and walks. Registration and the race start take place in Heritage Park, located below the Oktoberfest event area.
The event program includes these distances:
- 5K The Wurst 5K
- 1 Mile The Brat Trot
Registration opens July 30, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. Fees listed are $25 for The Wurst 5K and $15 for The Brat Trot. Registration for each event includes a custom race bib, a pretzel necklace, a brat, and a swag item. The Wurst 5K entry includes a 16 oz beer for participants 21 and over; participants under 21 in that event receive a root beer. The Brat Trot includes a root beer.
