The Woodlands Marathon

The Woodlands Marathon is based at Town Green Park in The Woodlands, Texas. The event includes marathon, half marathon and 10K distances and takes place on a one-loop course through Town Center and surrounding neighborhoods.

The marathon and half marathon use a flat, one-loop route. The two courses join between the 6th and 19th miles. Friends, family and spectators line the streets at several cheer zones along the route. The event also includes a finish festival and separate awards ceremonies for the 10K, half marathon and marathon.

Participants may run for charities through the Charity Challenge. Fundraising efforts listed for the event show $873.04 raised toward a $15,000.00 goal. Local organizations and businesses are listed as sponsors, including Texas First Bank, Houston Methodist, Heineken and Team Green Running.
