The Woodlands Marathon
The Woodlands Marathon is an annual multi-distance event that returned to the community in 2012. The organization focus is on promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting the local community through various athletic competitions. Since its re-establishment, the event has raised more than $1.3 million for nonprofit organizations.
Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, allowing for different levels of participation. The event also offers programs for adaptive athletes and athletes with disabilities (AWD). For competitive runners, an Elite Prize Purse is available based on performance.

The race week features a Health and Fitness Expo and a Finish Festival for participants and spectators. On course, the event hosts a Cheer Challenge to encourage community support along the routes. Additional amenities for runners include pace teams, gear check services, and live tracking through a dedicated mobile app. Virtual race options are also provided for those who cannot attend in person.
