The Woodlands Marathon
The Woodlands Marathon takes place in The Woodlands, Texas. The event features a course that traverses the streets of Town Center and the surrounding community. Participants can choose from several distance options:
- 26.2 miles (Marathon)
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 10 km
The marathon and half marathon follow a flat, one-loop course. These two routes join together between the 6th and 19th miles. Athletes with disabilities (AWDs) are included in the event schedule for the marathon and half marathon distances.
Spectators and supporters gather at various designated cheer zones along the route to provide encouragement to the participants. The event base is located at Town Green Park at 2099 Lake Robbins Drive.
The event includes a Charity Challenge, offering participants the opportunity to run for various organizations. Supported foundations include the Correa Family Foundation, Sole Loved, Cure Sanfilippo Foundation, Rebekah’s Angels Foundation, Journey Home, Strength Through Strides, and LifeFirst.
