Glow and Go 5K
The Glow and Go is a chip-timed 5K held on December 5, 2026, along The Woodlands Waterway. The event is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is sanctioned by USA Track and Field. The course follows the Waterway and is described as scenic; participants are encouraged to wear holiday glow attire.
Awards are provided for overall male and female finishers and for first, second and third place in male and female age groups. Awards will be distributed onsite; there will not be a formal awards ceremony. A photo area will be available for participants. Strollers are not permitted on the course per USATF sanction requirements.
Registration details state a $35 entry fee that includes a finisher medal and participant packet. Participant shirts are not included and may be purchased for an additional fee with a purchase deadline in early November; limited sizes may be available and shirts can be purchased at packet pickup if inventory permits. There is no race day registration; Race Day Packet Pickup is limited to pre-registered participants who have paid an additional fee.
Packet pickup is scheduled at The Woodlands Township Townhall Board Chambers on December 3 and December 4, 2026, with posted pickup hours. The event has a refund deadline in mid-November, a stated transfer deadline, and a no-refund policy for weather cancellations.
