Glow and Go
Glow and Go is a chip timed 5K produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2026 along The Woodlands Waterway at 2099 Lake Robbins Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77380. The event is USA Track and Field sanctioned and the course winds throughout the Waterway.
Awards are provided for overall male and female finishers and for first, second and third place in male and female age groups; awards will be distributed onsite and there will not be an awards ceremony. The race is recommended for participants ages 10 and older. Strollers are not permitted on the course per USATF sanction requirements. Participants are encouraged to wear glowing or holiday-themed attire.
The registration fee is $35 and includes a finisher medal and participant packet. A participant shirt is not included but can be purchased in advance for $15 by November 7, 2026; if available, shirts may be purchased at packet pickup for $20. There is no Race Day Registration. Only pre-registered participants who pay a $10 Race Day Packet Pickup fee may pick up packets on race day.
Packet pickup is at The Woodlands Township Townhall Board Chambers, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., on Thursday, December 3 and Friday, December 4. Entry fees are refundable in full until November 14, 2026; refunds exclude processing fees and may take up to three weeks. Entry transfers and refund deadlines are November 14, 2026. The event lists multiple sponsors including Memorial Hermann, The Strong Firm, Black Walnut Cafe, H-E-B and Entergy. Weather-related changes or cancellations may occur and do not qualify for refund.
