Glow and Go Parks & Recreation The Woodlands

Glow and Go is a chip-timed 5K produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and sanctioned by USA Track and Field. It is scheduled for December 5, 2026 and follows a course along The Woodlands Waterway at 2099 Lake Robbins Dr., The Woodlands, TX. The route is described as scenic and includes music, lights, and seasonal-themed atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to wear glow or holiday attire.

The event is open to runners of all abilities and is recommended for ages 10 and older. Strollers are not permitted on the course to comply with USATF sanction requirements. Awards are provided for overall male and female and for first through third place in male and female age groups; awards will be distributed onsite and there will not be a separate awards ceremony. A photo area will be available for participants.

Registration details include a $35 entry fee that covers a finisher medal and participant packet. A participant shirt is not included but may be purchased for an additional fee with limited sizes and deadlines; shirts may be available for purchase at packet pickup for an additional cost if inventory permits. There is no Race Day Registration; only pre-registered participants or those who have paid the Race Day Packet Pickup fee may collect packets on race day. Refunds and transfers have deadlines in November and weather cancellations follow a no refund policy.
