The Winter Wipeout!
The Winter Wipeout! is a deep winter fell run located at Ingram Cafe. This event serves as the third race in the Shadowlands Series. The course covers approximately the distance of a half marathon and takes participants on a route to the summit of Hedgehope and back.
The event occurs in January and is characterized by typical winter conditions, which may include sleet, snow, and strong winds. The course also incorporates water crossings. For safety, the route is fully marked and staffed by marshals and requires participants to carry essential winter kit.
