Event overview
The Willow 10 & 20 Miler is a trail race held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Willow River State Park near Hudson, Wisconsin. The event offers two distances:

The 20-mile course is organized as two loops. The 10-mile course is a single loop that uses grass and gravel trails.
Course and support
Each loop passes through varied park terrain, including forests, grasslands, and panoramic viewpoints. The park includes Willow Falls, a cascade into a roughly 200-foot-deep gorge. An aid station is located at about 6.75 miles into the loop and provides water, BPN GO GELs, and individually wrapped snacks. 20-mile runners have an additional aid point near the finish of the 10-mile loop for water, snacks, and access to items left in drop bags.
Location and policies
The venue address is 1034 County Highway A, Hudson, WI 54016. Willow River State Park is described as nearly 3,000 acres and about five miles north of Hudson; it is noted to be roughly 30 to 40 minutes from the eastern Twin Cities area. The race director may delay, suspend, or cancel any part of the event if weather conditions make participation unsafe or would harm the course.
