2026 The Westover 5k & 10k
The Westover 5k & 10k takes place in Bluemont Park in Arlington, Virginia. This event offers a flat course with minimal elevation changes, making it a scenic route for participants of various abilities. The run follows the paved W&OD trail using an out-and-back format. Participants in the 10 km distance complete the out-and-back circuit twice, while those in the 5 km distance complete it once.

The event is open to walkers and those using strollers. For individuals unable to attend the physical location, a virtual run option is available. The race is chip-timed, and participants receive a technical drifit event shirt and a finisher's medal. Water stations are positioned along the route, with one station for the 5 km and three stations for the 10 km.
This event serves as a fundraiser for the Arlington Free Clinic, an organization that provides healthcare services to low-income adults without health insurance. Results from the race contribute to several series standings, including the Fall Series and the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top two finishers in multiple age categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over.
