Event Overview
The Swamp Stomp is an event with a 5-mile run, a 4-mile walk, and a 1-mile fun run. The 31st annual edition is scheduled for a Saturday in March.
Course Details
The race takes place on the trails of Hawthorn Park in Terre Haute, Indiana. The course is described as well-marked with many course volunteers present.
Registration and Awards
Registration is available online. Participants must preregister by a specific date in March to receive a race shirt. Registration can continue online until the morning of the race, but a shirt is not guaranteed after the deadline.
Awards are given for overall finishers, age groups (based on 5-year increments), and walkers. The number of awards per age group is determined by the number of pre-registered participants in that group, ranging from one to three awards. Walker awards are not age-based and are awarded based on finish order among registered walkers. The event includes post-race snacks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
