Lost Creek Glow Run
The Lost Creek Glow Run is an evening athletic event held at Lost Creek Elementary in Terre Haute, IN. The race features two distinct distances available for participants:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 3K Run/Walk (1.8 miles)
Participants in both events receive several items with their registration, including an event t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a wearable glow item. Early packet pickup is organized on the day preceding the event at the school location. While race-day registration is available, these registrants receive a bib and glow items but are not guaranteed an event shirt.
The event takes place on a closed course. For safety and logistics, all vehicles must be parked before the local road closure on Hunt Road. This event serves as a fundraiser and includes several competitive elements. Awards are presented to the top three male and female runners within specified age groups. Additionally, it features a unique contest for the two runners judged to be the brightest or "glowiest." Extra glow accessories are also available for purchase on-site to help participants enhance their visibility for the night run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
