The Vine's Cold Run - 5K
The Vine's Cold Run - 5K is a community road event held in downtown Leesburg, Georgia on February 21, 2026. The course covers 3.1 miles through Leesburg and starts and finishes at the Lee County Chamber of Commerce at 106 Walnut Avenue North.
Participants receive a finisher medal, race bib, and timing support if registered. Finish line refreshments are provided for those who complete the 5K. An event T-shirt is available for purchase as an add-on during registration.
Registration pricing is tiered: early registration is $10 before January 21, and regular registration is $12 from January 21 to February 15. Children 17 and under may participate for free unless they choose to compete, in which case paid registration is required to receive a medal, bib, and timing. Children running for fun must have an adult present and a completed liability waiver at the registration booth; participants receive a wristband after the waiver is completed.
Walkers and strollers are allowed on the course. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women. A “Coldest Finisher” spirit award recognizes the best Ice Princess or Super Hero costume. The event is hosted by Grafted Men’s Fellowship of The Vine Church and proceeds support local ministry outreach. The event takes place rain or shine; participants are advised to dress warm.
