Combos(R) Marathon and Half Marathon : March 7, 2026, Albany, GA
The Combos(R) Marathon and Half Marathon take place in Albany, Georgia, with the event base at 112 N Front Street (Albany, GA 31701). The race program includes two distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
Course, entry and on-course services
Both races are open to hand cyclists, runners, and walkers. The course is described as flat and spectator-friendly. Runners have a 7-hour time limit to complete their race; at the 7-hour point participants will be asked to exit the course.
Aid stations are placed at approximately every two miles. Each aid station is stocked with Combos(R), Aquafina water, and Lemon-Lime Gatorade. As mileage increases, aid stations will also offer bananas, oranges, and GU gels. The finish-line hospitality tent provides Combos(R), Aquafina water, and Lemon-Lime Gatorade. Publix supplies fruit, muffins, and a variety of bagels at the finish area.
A downtown street festival runs midday on race day with live music, food vendors, and children's activities.
Awards and festival admission
The marathon awards a total of $12,000 in prize money: $3,000 for first male and female, $2,000 for second male and female, and $1,000 for third male and female. Age category and masters divisions receive awards for the top three finishers. Marathon participants receive a free admission ticket to the accompanying music festival.
