FREC 5K Race Series
The FREC 5K Race Series is the fifth annual series presented by Michelob Ultra and the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, hosted at Veterans Park Amphitheatre in Downtown Albany, Georgia. The series runs from October 3 to November 21, 2026, and includes three separate 5K races held on different dates.

Registration is available by single race or as a series package. A single 5K registration has a stated fee of $30 and includes entry to one 5K race and an official race-day T-shirt. Series registration is listed at $75 and includes entry to all three 5K races, a race T-shirt for each event, and a commemorative Race Series finisher medal; participants must complete all three races to receive the medal. The 1-mile fun run has a listed fee of $10, is open to participants of all ages, and does not include the race series T-shirt.
Each 5K starts and finishes at Veterans Park Amphitheatre and will feature its own unique course. Race packets may be picked up on race day during registration prior to each event. After the final 5K, grand prizes will be presented to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers based on cumulative performance across all three races.
The individual 5K events are identified as the Pink Run presented by Phoebe Putney Health System on October 3, the Monster Dash presented by GA's Own Credit Union on October 24, and the Turkey Trot presented by CBS44 on November 21. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
