FREC 5K Race Series
The FREC 5K Race Series is a sequence of three 5K events presented by Michelob Ultra and the Coca-Cola Bottling Company at Veterans Park Amphitheatre in Downtown Albany, Georgia (100 Oglethorpe Blvd, Albany, GA 31701). Each 5K event has its own course and is paired with a 1-mile fun run on the same event dates. The three 5K events are the Pink Run, the Monster Dash, and the Turkey Trot, held on October 3, October 24, and November 21, 2026.
Registration and race inclusions are described as follows:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
Registration options include a single 5K entry with an official race-day T-shirt, a series registration that covers all three 5K races and includes a race T-shirt for each event plus a commemorative Race Series finisher medal (medal awarded only to participants who complete all three races), and a 1-mile fun run entry that does not include the series T-shirt.
Race packets may be picked up on race day during registration, prior to each event's start. Grand prizes will be presented after the final 5K to the overall first, second, and third place finishers based on cumulative performance across all three races. To be eligible for those awards and for the commemorative medal, participants must complete all three 5K races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
