The Village Run - Ballylinan
The Village Run takes place in Ballylinan, County Laois on 27 September 2026. The event is organised with Ballylinan GAA and includes multiple chip timed road race distances.
The distances are:
- 3/4 Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
Registration and bib pick up take place at Ballylinan GFC from 08:30 on event day. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages. Course information and route maps are provided for each distance.
Prizes are awarded as cash for first, second and third place in each distance for female and male categories. All finishers receive a medal. Post race refreshments are provided and event merchandise is available for the first 500 registered participants. Parking is available at Ballylinan GAA.
