THE_URBAN_RACE Battersea Park is scheduled for 27 June 2026 at Battersea Park’s Millennium Arena, located at Carriage Dr E, London SW11 4NJ. The venue includes a 400m, 8‑lane track, a covered grandstand, and views across to Battersea Power Station.
The race format is built around eight 500m runs with a functional workout after each run, totaling 4 km of running. Participants alternate running and workout stations in the following sequence: SkiErg (500m), Sled Push (25m), Sled Pull (25m), Burpee Broad Jumps (40m), Row (500m), Farmer’s Carry (100m), Walking Lunges (50m), and Wall Balls (50 reps). Weights and movement standards vary by division and are set out in the official rulebook. A technical briefing is provided by email ahead of race day and repeated during the athlete briefing.
Typical finish times are around 45 to 75 minutes depending on pacing and division. The event package includes live DJ sets, professional race timing, event photography, massage and sports injury therapists, stocked aid stations, a secure bag drop, and on-site coffee and pastry options. Spectators are free of charge but require a pre-registered spectator ticket to manage capacity.
Volunteer roles include registration, marshals, first aid, t-shirt sales, finishers photos, and more. Volunteers receive a free coffee and lunch and one free race entry for a By Athena race within the 2026–2027 race season. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
