The Ugly Sweater 5K or 10K Race/Walk
The Ugly Sweater 5K or 10K Race/Walk is scheduled for November 7, 2026 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The event offers two distance options:
- 5K race or walk along the Mariners Trail.
- 10K race or walk along the Mariners Trail.
Both distances run on the Mariners Trail along Lake Michigan. Race start and check in are based at The Inn on Maritime Bay, 101 Maritime Drive, Manitowoc, WI 54220. Early packet pick up and auction viewing are available on Friday, November 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday check in is available on race day.
Registration opens April 13 and closes October 20. The listed registration fee is $35.00. Teams of five or more receive a $5.00 discount per registration that is refunded once the team reaches five members. Registrants who register by October 20 receive a long sleeve t-shirt.
The event is chip timed and includes race bibs. Water will be provided for participants and lunch and a drink are provided after the event. A raffle and silent auction run through noon on November 7. The event features an ugly sweater contest for adults and children and children’s activities such as face painting and balloon creations.
