About the race
The Ugly Sweater 5K or 10K Race/Walk takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The event is based at The Inn on Maritime Bay, 101 Maritime Drive, Manitowoc, WI 54220, and the course runs on the Mariners trail along Lake Michigan.

The event is chip timed and includes race bibs. Registration fee is $35.00; registering five or more entries receives a $5.00 discount per registration. Registration opens April 13, 2026 and closes October 21, 2026. Long sleeve t-shirts are provided to participants who register by October 20, 2026. Early packet pickup is available on Friday, November 6 at The Inn on Maritime Bay for those who qualify.
On event day participants receive water during the race and lunch and a drink afterward. The schedule includes an ugly sweater contest for adults and children, kids activities such as face painting and balloon creations, and a raffle and silent auction with on-site viewing and bidding.
