Event Overview
The Trojan Trot 5K is a running and walking event scheduled for July 11, 2026. It takes place at the St. Leon American Legion Post #464 in St. Leon, Indiana. The event is a fundraiser for the East Central cross country team.
Events and Fees
Participants can choose from three events, all covering a 5K distance: 5K Run, 5K Walk, and 5K Run - Cross Country Member. Registration fees vary. The standard entry fee is $25 until June 25th and includes a t-shirt. A $15 option is available without a t-shirt. Cross country team members have a reduced fee of $10 with a t-shirt or $5 without. T-shirt availability is guaranteed for orders placed by June 25th.
Awards
Awards are given in multiple categories. For the 5K Run, overall male and female winners are recognized, along with age group awards spanning from 12 & Under to 80 & Over. For the 5K Walk, overall male and female awards are given, with age groups for 49 & Under and 50 & Over.
Series Information
The event is part of the Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit (SIRC), a summer series of five 5K races where each event benefits a host school's running program. Participants who complete four or five SIRC races are eligible for series-wide awards and a grand prize giveaway. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
