Saint Martin's Country Run
Saint Martin's Country Run is the 45th annual road race held in Yorkville (Guilford), Indiana, organized by Saint Martin's Country Run. The event is described as Dearborn County's oldest road race and uses St. Martin's Church as the venue and meeting point.
The course is an out-and-back 5k (3.1 miles) on asphalt roads with some small hills. Split times are recorded at each mile and signs mark both kilometers and miles along the route. Water is available at the start and finish area and at points during the race. Modern restroom facilities are provided in the parish hall for use before and after the race. A fried chicken dinner is offered after the event.
Entry fees and shirt options are listed by the organizer. Age-group awards are presented along with overall male and female awards. Additional recognitions include a Most Improved Runner award, oldest male and female, and furthest traveled. Race day registration and packet pickup are available at the venue.
