Saint Martin's Country Run

The Saint Martin's Country Run is the 46th annual road race held in Guilford, Indiana. It is described as Dearborn County's oldest road race and is organized from St. Martin's Church, located at 8044 Yorkridge Rd.

The course is an out and back 5K (3.1 miles) on asphalt roads with some small hills. Split times are provided at each mile and signs mark the kilometers and miles along the route. Water is available at the start and finish and at a station during the race.

Modern restroom facilities will be available in the parish hall before and after the event. A fried chicken dinner is offered after the race, and for 2026 overall male and female winners each receive a voucher for a free chicken dinner.

Event registration details provided by the organizer list an opening date of 2026-07-27, a closing date of 2026-12-31, and a registration fee of $15.00.

There is a construction notice that affects access to the venue. Yorkridge Road is closed at the bridge in Guilford for those arriving from the south; an alternate route from the south uses Hwy 1 to Dover, then North Dearborn Road to Yorkridge. Indiana 1 is closed just north of Dover for those arriving from the north; detour routes include but are not limited to State Route 46 to Legion and routes via Sawmill and North Dearborn. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
