Saint Martin's Country Run
The event is the 46th annual Country Run held in the Yorkville area of Guilford, Dearborn County. It is an out-and-back 5K course (3.1 miles) run on asphalt roads from St. Martin's Church and includes some small hills. Kilometers and miles are marked along the course and split times are provided at each mile.
Modern restroom facilities are available in the parish hall before and after the race. Water is provided at the start and finish area and at points along the course. A fried chicken dinner is served after the event. For 2026 the overall male and female winners each receive a voucher for a free chicken dinner.
Road closures affect some approaches to the venue. Yorkridge Road is closed at the bridge in Guilford and southbound traffic may use Highway 1 to Dover, then North Dearborn Road to Yorkridge. Indiana 1 is closed just north of Dover and multiple detour routes are in place; examples include State Rt. 46 to Legion and routes using Sawmill and North Dearborn.
