The Three Counties Trot

The Three Counties Trot is Billinge Running Club’s flagship 5-mile trail race, held each November in the Billinge area near Wigan. The route showcases the club’s classic trails—scenic, varied and a little muddy—as runners traverse the three counties, starting from Janet Lalley Fields by The Delph Tavern. The course features woodland paths, rolling hills, and parkland, offering a welcoming mix of terrain for beginners and seasoned trail runners alike.

The event is fully marshalled and marked, with a warm, community atmosphere and post-race festivities at The Delph. A remembrance weekend minute’s silence is observed and club flags may be displayed at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
