Event overview
Run Aintree Half Marathon, 10k & 5k takes place on Sunday 13th December 2026 at Aintree Racecourse, Ormskirk Road, Liverpool L9 5AS. The event offers three race distances and a charity entry option. Listed entry fees are £28 for the 5K, £30 for the 10K, £33 for the Half Marathon and £150 for a RunThrough Foundation place (no fundraising required). Each mile on the course is accurately marked and marshals are present to guide runners.
Course and race services
The races use laps around the racecourse on road surfaces; the course is described as flat. Laps per distance are: one lap for the 5K, two laps for the 10K and four laps for the Half Marathon. Entries include a themed medal, water and post-race goodies. The event provides chip-timed results and free race photos. An event village will offer food and drink options and free partner goodies at the finish. A RunThrough Kit technical T-shirt with the event logo is available to purchase for £12 (retail value £22).
