Event overview

The Terminator 2026 is organised by Pewsey Vale Running Club and takes place on 22 February 2026 in Pewsey, Wiltshire. The route is approximately 12 miles, almost entirely off-road (about 98% off-road). The course is multi-terrain and muddy, with a gentle start across fields, several climbs, a final tough section, and views from high points. The event is Race 8 of the Wiltshire off road league 25/26 and holds ARC permit 26/0116. Chip timing is used and there are individual prize categories for male and female finishers. All finishers receive a unique T-shirt.

Logistics, facilities and rules

Registration and race number pick-up are at The Bouverie Hall, Pewsey SN9 5EQ; start and finish are at the Coopers Arms Pub, Ball Road, Pewsey SN9 5BL. There is no parking at the Bouverie Hall or the Coopers; signed race car parks around the village require a short walk. Facilities include toilets at Bouverie Hall, portaloos at the start/finish, bag store, cakes and refreshments at the finish, and very limited changing facilities with no showers. The event is cupless - runners should bring their own cup for the two water stations. Full first aid and medical cover will be provided on the course. Key rules include acting safely, no headphones (disqualification), reporting injuries to marshals, not using another runner’s number, and no dogs due to livestock on the course.
