The Tech Race 5K - Atlanta, GA
The Tech Race 5K takes place on August 9, 2026 at Lee + White, 1010 White Street SW, Atlanta. The event is presented as a community 5K for engineers, founders, students, and operators and covers 5K (3.1 miles).
The course begins on White Street and merges onto the Beltline for an out-and-back section. It returns to White Street, exits to cross White Street on the Lawton Street bridge, then turns onto a new section of the Beltline and finishes behind Wild Heaven Brewery. The course is USATF certified and finish times are eligible for placement consideration in the 2027 Peachtree Road Race.
Logistics include parking at the start line at Lee + White with free parking for the first 2 hours. West End MARTA Station is nearby and rideshare from the station is recommended. The event notes that there are onsite restrooms. Strollers, dogs, and scooters are not permitted on the course.
T-shirt and entry details are provided for registration windows: Early Bird (with T-shirt) June 15 to June 29 - $40; Standard (with T-shirt) June 30 to July 28 - $50; July 29 to August 8 (without T-shirt) - $50; Race Day (without T-shirt) - $55. All finishers receive a custom The Tech Race finisher medal. Age group awards are given to the top male and top female in the following categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over. Awards are based on net chip time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
