The Sweaty Pig 2026
The Sweaty Pig is an annual fundraiser and its eighth edition is presented as a hybrid event with both in person and virtual race options. The event is held at Hawk Ridge Park (Zachary’s Playground) in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, and supports Unlimited Play, a St. Louis based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that builds inclusive playgrounds. Results management is handled by Start 2 Finish St. Louis.
Distances offered include:
- 5K in person, timed
- 1 Mile in person, untimed
- Virtual 1 Mile
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
- Little Piggy 50 Yard Dash for ages 5 and under
Virtual participants may choose their own course and complete their run between Friday, June 19 and Sunday, June 21, with virtual results becoming official on June 22. Virtual runners may submit times for rankings but virtual entries are not eligible for awards.
Packet options are available for in person and virtual participants. Pre event pickup is offered in Lake Saint Louis and pickup is also available at the park on race day. Virtual runners may opt to have packets shipped after the in person event for an additional fee; shipping is available within the continental United States with additional fees for Alaska, Hawaii, or international addresses.
Awards for the in person 5K are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three males and females in the following age groups 10 and under, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Many race entries include a dri fit shirt, medal, and race packet. The Little Piggy dash is free and includes a pig nose and youth T shirt.
