The Summit Coffee Spartan 5K
The Summit Coffee Spartan 5K is an annual running event held in Davidson, North Carolina. The 18th edition of the race is scheduled for May 2, 2026, and takes place at The Village Green. This event is organized in conjunction with the Davidson Town Day Celebration.
The primary purpose of the race is to support the Community School of Davidson (CSD). All proceeds from the event are directed toward the school's Athletic Department to benefit student athletes. Registration options are available for several categories:
- 5K
- 5K Student (open to participants aged 1-18)
Participants who register by April 21st are guaranteed an event t-shirt. Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age groups, ranging from 10-under to 60+. The awards ceremony is held in front of the Davidson Library.
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at the CSD Elementary School and Summit Coffee, as well as on the morning of the event at The Village Green. The race operates under a rain or shine policy, though the race directors may cancel the event if conditions are determined to be dangerous.
