The Summit Coffee Spartan 5K
The Community School of Davidson (CSD) Spartan 5K takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Davidson, NC. The race is held in conjunction with the Davidson Town Day Celebration and is the 18th annual edition. The event benefits the Community School of Davidson Athletic Department; 100% of proceeds go to student athletes. The title sponsor is Summit Coffee.

Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 5K Student. Prices increase after January 2, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.
Logistics, awards and policies
The race place is The Village Green, 216 S Main Street, Davidson, NC 28036. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 1 at two locations: CSD Elementary School front porch (565 Griffith St) from 1:30PM to 3:30PM, and Summit Coffee back patio (128 S Main St) from 4PM to 6PM. Additional packet pickup is at The Village Green on Saturday, May 2 from 6:45AM to 7:45AM. T-shirts are guaranteed only for participants registered before April 21.
Awards include Men’s and Women’s Overall and age-group awards for 1st–3rd place in the following brackets: 60+, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 14-19, 11-13, and 10-under. Awards are provided by Fleet Feet Huntersville & Concord and will be announced in front of the Davidson Library. Results will be linked to Queen City Timing and the race page. The 5K will be held rain or shine unless directors determine conditions are unsafe; if canceled for weather there are no refunds or transfers. A PDF course map is available.
