The Summit Coffee Spartan 5K
The Summit Coffee Spartan 5K takes place in Davidson, NC on May 2, 2026, and is held in conjunction with the Davidson Town Day Celebration. The Community School of Davidson is sponsoring the 18th annual 5K to benefit its Athletic Department. One hundred percent of proceeds support the student athletes at the Community School of Davidson.

Registration fees are listed for the two events. The student event is open to ages 1 through 18. A course map is available as an attached PDF and race results are linked to Queen City Timing and the RunSignUp event page. Awards include Men's Overall and Women's Overall, plus 1st through 3rd place male and female in the following age groups: 60+, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 14-19, 11-13, and 10-under. Awards will be announced in front of the Davidson Library on race day.
Packet pickup is organized the day before at the Community School of Davidson elementary school front porch and at Summit Coffee, and on race day at The Village Green in downtown Davidson. T-shirts are guaranteed only for participants registered before April 21. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine unless directors declare conditions unsafe; if canceled for weather there will be no refunds or transfers.
