Event details
The Summit Coffee Spartan 5K takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Davidson, NC at The Village Green (216 S Main Street). The Community School of Davidson hosts the 18th annual 5K in conjunction with the Davidson Town Day Celebration. Proceeds benefit the school’s Athletic Department; the event states that 100% of proceeds go to support the student athletes.

Entry fees listed for the events are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 5K Student. Prices increase after December 30, 2025. T-shirts are guaranteed only for participants registered before April 21.
Logistics, awards, and policies
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at CSD Elementary School (565 Griffith St) and at Summit Coffee (128 S Main St), with additional pickup at The Village Green on race day. A PDF course map is provided by the organizers. Results will be linked to the timing provider Queen City Timing and the race page. Photos are noted as coming soon.
Awards include Men’s Overall and Women’s Overall, plus 1st through 3rd place male and female age-group awards for these brackets: 60+, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 14-19, 11-13, and 10-under. Awards are provided by a local running retailer. The race will be held rain or shine unless directors determine conditions are unsafe; if the race is canceled due to weather there will be no refunds or transfers.
