Summer Ready Run returns for its sixth year at Ferry Meadows, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU. Ferry Meadows is one of the largest country parks in the region, located less than three miles from Peterborough city centre at the heart of Nene Park. The park offers varied landscapes and country park footpaths.

The event is offered in two timed options, a six hour option and a four hour option. Participants complete repeated laps of a 5.3 km circuit through forest, using gravel footpaths and some grass areas. Runners may rest between laps and continue as desired; an event cutoff permits an additional lap in certain circumstances. Aid and water are available at the Race HQ/Base Camp located at the start and lap point.

Practical details include a baggage area left at the participant's risk and chargeable parking at the park. From the toilets and parking payment machines the race arch and gazebos are visible. Entrants receive an email from the entry portal and a confirmation and race briefing from the organiser.

Footwear suggestions note that road trainers are suitable but trail shoes may be useful depending on recent weather. A bespoke event medal is provided to finishers unless a generic finisher medal option has been selected. Virtual entries for medal only are available.
