Summer Ready Run - Ferry Meadows

Summer Ready Run is a timed loop event held at Ferry Meadows country park near Peterborough. The event is offered in two durations: six hours or four hours. Participants run repeated laps of a measured 5.3 km loop that uses gravel footpaths and grass sections, creating a mixed terrain course.

Runners may complete as many laps as they choose and may rest between laps. Standard lap counts given as examples include a half marathon as five laps and a marathon as a higher lap total, with the possibility to increase lap count during the event if time allows. An aid station and the Race HQ/Base Camp are located at the start and lap point so supplies are available each lap.

Practical details supplied by the organiser include race registration near the main toilet block and a baggage area left at participants own risk. Parking at the park is chargeable. Road trainers are suggested though trail shoes may be appropriate depending on recent weather.

The event has a bespoke event medal option and an alternative non-specific finisher medal option. Virtual entries are available for those who wish to take part remotely.
