About the race
Summer Ready Run is held at Ferry Meadows, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU. Ferry Meadows is described as one of the largest country parks in the region, situated less than three miles from Peterborough city centre and at the heart of Nene Park.
The event is organised as a lapped challenge on a multi terrain course. Each lap measures 5.3 km and follows forest routes made up of gravel footpaths and some grass areas. The event is offered in two formats, a six hour option or a four hour option, during which participants run as far as they can and may rest between laps. The Race HQ and Base Camp are located at the start and lap point and an aid station is available on every lap.

- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
A heavy half marathon is normally five laps with the option to change to six or seven laps on the day. An ultra marathon is normally nine laps with the option to increase laps up to twelve depending on time available. Parking at the park is chargeable. Registration and the event arch are positioned near the main toilet block. Road trainers are suggested; trail shoes are optional. A bespoke event medal is provided at the finish unless the non specific finisher medal option is chosen. The event is cupless so participants should bring their own bottle or cup.
