The Summer Ready Run 2026
The Summer Ready Run is a timed endurance event held at Ferry Meadows in Nene Park, Peterborough. Participants have a total of six hours to complete as many laps as they choose on a 5.3 km circular course. The route features country park footpaths and grass areas, and it is designed to be easy to navigate. Registration is open to all entrants aged 18 and older.
The event offers flexibility in distance and duration. While participants can use the time to reach specific milestones, they are free to stop at any point before the overall finishing time. Available target distances include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
The race village includes a central water and aid station located at the start and lap point, where runners can rest between circuits. The event is chip-timed, and finishers receive coffee, cake, and a medal. Participants can choose between a standard event medal or a "lucky dip" medal from a previous event.
The venue is located three miles west of Peterborough and two miles east of the A1. On-site parking is available for a small fee. Race bibs are collected on the day of the event at the registration desk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
