Event overview
The Stonehenge Stomp takes place on Sunday 25 January 2026 and is organised by the City of Salisbury Athletics & Running Club. The event brings walkers and runners together on fully marked trails around the Stonehenge landscape. It is not a race and the event is not timed. The organiser states that 50% of event proceeds will be donated to Salisbury Hospice Charity and the remainder will be invested in grass routes athletics at the club. The event is cupless - participants should bring their own cup or may order a collapsible cup during entry.

Routes include marshalled checkpoints with water, squash and biscuits. Checkpoint cards are available and are stamped along the route. Participants receive a coloured band for their chosen distance and a sew-on Stonehenge Stomp badge is included with entry. Personalised certificates are available for a donation.
Entry, kit and other rules
Entry is online only and places are limited (maximum 1,000 entrants). Entries close 18 January 2026; transfers are permitted up to that date. Entries are non-refundable; refunds and deferrals are not offered. The organiser specifies a minimum age of 18 years. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times. New mandatory kit requires all participants to carry a foil blanket (available to purchase at HQ). Hot food, showers and a changing area are available at HQ; bags are unmanned and left at the owner’s risk. Volunteers support event delivery.
