Stonehenge Stomp 2026
The Stonehenge Stomp is an annual walking event that also welcomes runners. It offers fully marked trails around the Stonehenge landscape with marshalled checkpoints providing refreshments and optional checkpoint card stamping. The event is not a race and is not timed.
Routes are available in multiple distances and include views of Stonehenge on all routes. Participants receive a coloured band for their chosen distance and a sew on badge is included with entry. Personalised certificates are available for a donation to the chosen charity. Checkpoints supply water, squash and biscuits.
Participant numbers are limited and entry is online only; there are no on-the-day entries. Transfers are allowed subject to organiser deadlines and entries are non-refundable. The organiser lists a maximum of 1000 entrants. Mandatory kit requires all participants to carry a foil blanket; these will be available to purchase at headquarters. The event supports Salisbury Hospice Charity with 50% of proceeds donated; the remainder is invested in grass routes athletics at the organising club.
