Event

Plain Crazy (Winter) is a countryside run of approximately 12.5 ish miles in Warminster, Wiltshire. The event supports The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Prizes are listed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers and for veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both men and women. A GPX route file is provided for the course.

Logistics and rules

Facilities noted include toilets, refreshments for purchase, three water stations and first aid cover. Parking is available at Imber Avenue, Warminster BA12 0DD; the event requests consideration for local residents and car sharing. Registration must be completed in advance by the stated deadline of 20 December 2025 and there will be no entries on the day. Plain Crazy is open to runners aged over 16 on the day. Dogs are not permitted. Headphones are not permitted for safety and breaking this rule may lead to disqualification. Due to potential winter conditions a cut-off time applies.
