Plain Crazy (Winter) 12.5 ish miles
Plain Crazy (Winter) is a roughly 12.5 miles run on 29 December 2025 at Pepper Place, Warminster BA12 0DW. The course is described as hilly and scenic, and weather can be cold, windy or snowy. The event supports The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and is organised by Redfish Events.
Entry, prizes and facilities
Entries close on 20 December 2025 or earlier if the event reaches its limit; there will be no entries on the day. Fees are listed as £27 for affiliated runners and £29 for unattached runners. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, and in V40, V50, V60 and V70 male and female categories. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Toilets will be available. Refreshments will be available to purchase, and there are three water stations on the route. First aid cover is provided and the event is fully insured. Parking is available at Imber Avenue, Warminster BA12 0DD; organisers ask competitors to be courteous to residents and consider car sharing. The race is open only to people aged 16 or older on the day. No dogs are allowed and headphones are not permitted. A cut off time applies because of possible winter conditions.
