The Spooky 5K Social Run
The event is a social, multi terrain run of 5K held in Roudham, Norfolk (NR16 2RJ) on Thursday 29 October 2026. The loop uses a mix of footpaths, byways and highways and crosses a railway line twice. Underfoot surfaces include roots, tarmac, stones and sand; depending on the weather there may be mud and puddles.
The route will be marked and a route map will be provided. A GPX file can be supplied for use on a watch or phone. One leader will follow the pace of the slowest runner and another will lead at the front to guide the group. Participants who choose to run ahead are responsible for their own navigation.
The run will take place in very low light, so participants should bring at least one torch or running lights. Fancy dress is encouraged but any costume should allow safe vision and movement. The event is not suitable for persons under 16, buggies, dogs or werewolves and vampires.
A pre-event briefing will include safety and parking information and will be emailed to participants in the week before the event.
