Event overview
The Speyside Triathlon takes place on 28 June 2026 in the village of Kincraig, within Cairngorms National Park. The event is delivered by Fitnessat58° and is limited to 200 places. The start and finish are at Loch Insh Outdoor Centre and registration is in the Ptarmigan Dome. Car parking will be available close to the centre. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Race details and logistics
Distances:
- 500 m swim
- 18 km cycle - 70% gravel/forest tracks, 30% road
- 10 km run - 90% gravel/forest tracks, 10% road
Required or recommended items include a wetsuit (optional but recommended), a mountain bike or gravel bike and helmet, running trainers, warm/dry kit, and personal nutrition and water. A bike repair kit is optional; bike repairs cannot be accommodated along the course.
Included with entry are a warm up led by a Fitnessat58° instructor, chip timing with results issued on the day, a finisher medal, free photos, water stops on course, and prizes for the top three female and top three male finishers. Team entry is available at £25 per discipline (£75 total). Individual entry prices listed are £55 (early bird) and £69.99 (standard). A service fee applies to sign-ups.
