The Silkin Way Ultra

The Silkin Way Ultra is an exciting running event held in Telford, offering participants a choice between a 50K ultra distance and a half marathon. This race, now in its 9th year, celebrates the Silkin Way's 50th anniversary and takes runners on a scenic route from the south side of Telford along the River Severn to Bratton, before returning through Telford and heading towards Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge. The course is well-supported with aid stations at key points, providing refreshments and guidance through marked routes.
