Course and logistics
Both races use an out-and-back route on the Susquehanna Warrior Trail along the west bank of the Susquehanna River in Luzerne County. The trail surface is hard-packed dirt and gravel. Reported total elevation gain and loss is 11 feet and about 90% of the trail is shaded. Porta-potties will be available at the starting area and along the course. Water stations are located roughly every 2 miles. Packet pickup is on-site the day of the event. Parking is available in nearby lots and along the street.
Additional information
Dogs are allowed on the public trail but must be leashed and participants are advised to bring only dogs experienced running with groups. Strollers are not permitted on the course. A portion of proceeds and all donations will support the Susquehanna Warrior Trail. Awards include plaques for top three male and female overall, top three male and female masters (masters division for the half only), and top three male and female in standard age groups from 14 and under through 70+.
