WVS Winter's End 4.5 Mile Run : March 22, 2026
The WVS Winter's End 4.5 Mile Run is scheduled for March 22, 2026 at the Penn State University Wilkes-Barre Campus in Lehman, Dallas, PA. The course is a 4.5 mile route through rolling hills in the Lehman area near the campus.
Entry requires online pre registration and race day entries will not be accepted. Pre entry fees are listed as WVS members $20 and non members $25, with prices increasing on March 1, 2026 to WVS members $25 and non members $30. Online registration closes Friday, March 20, 2026 at noon. Registration is non refundable and non transferable. WVS membership can be purchased online for $12 and may provide a discount code for members.
Pre entry packet pick up begins at 9:30 am at the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Commons on campus. The race will be chip timed. Runners will receive a commemorative gift to be determined. If the race is cancelled due to directives by the facility or the WVS, 2026 pre entries will be deferred to the following year and no refunds will be issued.
Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top three males and females in each age group. Safety rules state that animals and baby strollers are not permitted, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed on campus. Spectators may view the course from the start and finish area, parking lots, and a turnaround near Lake Lehman High School. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
