Saxon Triathlon
The Saxon Triathlon is a multi-distance event held in the countryside of Northamptonshire. The event starts at Pitsford Water, a large body of water within Brixworth Country Park that is also a nature reserve.
Four race formats are offered:
- Olympic Triathlon: a 1500m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run.
- Middle Distance Triathlon: a 1900m swim, 90km bike, and 21km run.
- Aquabike (Olympic): a 1500m swim and 40km bike.
- Aquabike (Middle): a 1900m swim and 90km bike. Teams of two or three participants are allowed for the Olympic and Middle Distance triathlons.
Registration takes place on the Saturday before the event at the transition field in Brixworth. Live race timing is provided, allowing friends and family to track participants. Photographers are positioned around the course and in the event village.
The venue, Pitsford Water, features a hard-surfaced waterside track and is used for walking, cycling, and watersports. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
