The SAX 4 Miler
The SAX 4 Miler is the 15th annual community walk/run held in Parsippany, New Jersey, at the event headquarters on 389 Interpace Parkway. The event brings together clients, colleagues, friends, and families to raise funds for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ.
Over its history the event has raised more than $1,000,000 for the Child Life Department. Funds for the 2026 edition will support a range of specialized programs and centers across the hospital, including the Binder Autism Center; the Center for Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing; Our World: The Palestroni Center for Genetic Conditions; the Santo LoConte Child Advocacy Center; the Valerie Fund Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology; the CenteringParenting Program; the Regional Craniofacial Center; the Cystic Fibrosis Center; and the HealthySteps Pediatric Program.
Event options include:
- 4 Miles : 4 Mile Run
- 4 Miles : 2 Mile or 4 Mile Walk option
- 200 Yards : Kids Races
- 4 Miles : Virtual option
Registration fees listed by the organizer are $25 for the primary run, walk, and virtual options, and $10 for the kids races. The event is presented as an annual fundraiser supporting pediatric care and related services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
