The SAX 4 Miler
The SAX 4 Miler is a community fundraising running and walking event held at the SAX Parsippany campus in Parsippany, NJ. The event supports the Child Life Department at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and has raised over $1 million for that department since the event began in 2012.
The main course is a USA Track and Field certified double loop measured for a four mile distance. The event program includes an in person 4 Mile Run, a 2 Mile or 4 Mile Walk option, kids dashes for young children, and a virtual 4 Mile option.
Awards are provided for the 4 Mile Run, including top three overall male and female finishers and age group awards in ten year bands from 19 and under through 70 and over. Amenities listed for the event include a technical T shirt for pre registrants while supplies last, refreshments, kids activities, DJ entertainment, and random prize drawings.
