The Saucy Strut 5K Run/Walk and Kids Mile
The Saucy Strut is the second annual community 5K run and walk in Rutledge, Tennessee. It takes place as part of a Bluegrass and BBQ Fundraiser Event and supports Grainger County Cancer Connect. Proceeds are designated to benefit people in Grainger County who are facing a cancer diagnosis.
Last year the event recorded over 220 registered walkers and runners. Organizers aim to increase participation this year. The event is open to all ages and to both runners and walkers. A kids mile is included to encourage youth participation and community involvement across age groups.
