Holiday Run - 2026
The Lincoln Track Club’s annual Holiday Run will take place on December 6, 2026, at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, NE. This in-person event is the 26th edition and is held as a fundraiser; all proceeds go to the Capital Humane Society.
The event offers multiple distance options:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- Kids' Grand Prix 1 Mile
Packet pickup is scheduled for December 5 at Lincoln Running Company, 1213 Q Street, Lincoln, NE 68508; registrants select a pickup time during registration. Kids' Grand Prix participants receive a gift at packet pickup. Donations for the Capital Humane Society may also be dropped off at packet pickup.
Participants are invited to wear festive holiday gear and may bring dogs to the event. A photo campaign associated with the event uses the hashtag #RunForBowWowsAndMeows; three submitted entries will be selected for prizes.
