Holiday Run - Lincoln
The Lincoln Track Club’s annual Holiday Run takes place on December 6, 2026, at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event is an in-person community race and serves as a fundraiser; all proceeds go to the Capital Humane Society to support local dogs and cats. This is the 26th running of the Holiday Run.
Race options include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Kids' Grand Prix 1 Mile
Packet pickup is scheduled for December 5 at Lincoln Running Company (1213 Q Street, Lincoln, NE). Participants select a pickup time during registration. Packet pickup will also accept donated items for the Capital Humane Society. Kids Grand Prix runners receive a gift at packet pickup.
Participants are encouraged to wear festive holiday gear and may bring their dogs to the event. Organizers invite photo submissions to the Lincoln Track Club’s Facebook page using the hashtag #RunForBowWowsAndMeows; three submitted entries will be selected for a prize. Registration includes early and late pricing periods as listed by the organizer.
