The Sandwich 10k : 19 July 2026
The Sandwich 10k returns in 2026 with a spectator friendly, two lap route around the town. The course is mostly flat and includes two loops of the historic town centre, and stretches that pass near the Quayside and the river. The route is based on the popular town centre passages with some tweaks from previous years. The race starts and finishes at Sir Roger Manwood's School, Manwood Road, Sandwich, Kent, CT13 9JX. Sandwich is one of the best preserved medieval towns in England.
The course layout and largely flat profile mean good times are possible and the route is described as suitable for both less experienced and more experienced runners. Venue facilities include toilets, a free car park and refreshments. Entry fees are listed as advanced entries at £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated entrants, with on the day entries subject to space at £30. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 10k is 15 years on the day. On the day entries may be available until 9:30am on the day.
