The Rubicon
The Rubicon is a remote on and off-trail foot race in the backcountry of the northwestern Sierra Nevada. It is not an official event but a group run without course markings, aid stations, staff, or medical support.
Participants can choose from three route options:
- The Requisite: 15+ miles with approximately 6,700 feet of elevation gain, 3 hill climbs, and 2 water crossings.
- The Resonant: 30+ miles with approximately 12,700 feet of elevation gain, 6 hill climbs, and 6 water crossings.
- The Revenant: 43+ miles with approximately 19,300 feet of elevation gain, 8 hill climbs, and 8 water crossings.
Eligibility requires completing The Requisite before attempting The Resonant, and completing The Resonant before attempting The Revenant.
