The event features a variety of endurance challenges set against the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Participants can choose between two triathlon distances or two individual running races. The triathlon portions are USAT sanctioned and include pool swimming at Exeter Union High School followed by cycling and running through the local terrain.

  • Long Course: An 800 yard swim, 24.8 mile bike ride, and 6.2 mile (10k) run. The cycling portion features multiple climbs in Yokohl Valley with a maximum elevation gain of 4.1%.
  • 10k: A running race that involves two climbs over Rocky Hill, finishing inside the high school stadium.
  • 5k: An out and back running course to the base of Rocky Hill, concluding with a finish through the stadium arch.

Participant Amenities

All finishers receive a pullover hoodie and a finisher medal. Triathlon participants are also provided with a performance trucker hat, a towel, and a custom insulated cycling water bottle. The event features free race photos and an epic finish with music. Age group awards are presented in 10-year increments for both male and female participants across all distances. Registration also includes a beer ticket to a local pizza restaurant.
