Downtown Visalia Kiwanis 0.5K Donut Run/Walk and Shoe Fling
The Downtown Visalia Kiwanis event on March 20, 2027 takes place at Mooney Grove Park next to the Tulare County Museum in Visalia, California. The main course is 0.5K, described by the organizers as one lap plus 180 feet on a standard track, about 1,640 feet.
The event includes separate categories for adults, youth, and kids. Adult registration carries a stated fee of $30, youth registration is $20, and children 10 years old and younger may participate for free without a T-shirt; youth registration includes an option for a T-shirt. Strollers are allowed on the course.
An aid station sponsored by Denny's is located at the halfway point and is described as offering donut holes, coffee, and juice. Every finisher receives a donut and a first place medal. Proceeds from the event support Kiwanis projects serving children in the local community.
Additional activities are scheduled around the run/walk. A Best Dressed Donut costume award will receive a small trophy. A Brown's Shoe Fit Shoe Fling competition follows the run with divisions for adults 18 and over, youth under 18, and kids 10 and under.
